Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Holly Robichaud!

Quick someone call Illinois’ Attorney General. While she is questioning the competency of Blagojevich, she should also test our Governor’s ability to do his job. Patrick must be going insane to appoint Jim Aloisi Secretary of Transportation.

Jim Aloisi is not the right man for the job. In fact, he is the worst possible choice. This former Dukoid is partial responsible for the Big Dig mess and was a co-conspirator in keeping the tolls in place after the Pike had finally been paid off.

While serving as Chief of Staff for the Republican Leader, I had many dealings with numerous officials and agency heads over the years. One encounter is forever burned into my memory and it was with Jim Aloisi, who at the time was working at the Massachusetts Turnpike. During a budget debate the Leader attached an amendment that required the turnpike to install the Fast Pass System. As you know it saves millions in collecting tolls by cutting the toll taker workforce. This amendment generated several nasty phone calls from Jim Aloisi to the leader. At the time of the first call, the Leader was in a meeting so I took it. What was on the other end was a completely unglued nut job.
