Holly Robichaud on "Deval's Travels."

Governor Patrick announced last week he may now go to Israel and India to promote doing business in Massachusetts.

I am not sure whether to celebrate him leaving the state or point out the uselessness of his trips.

With him out of state Deval cannot announce yet another plan to spend another billion dollars of our tax money. However, I do think it would be better if he left to campaign for Barack instead of making pointless trips overseas on our dime. At least if he was helping Obama, they would be footing the bill.

Let’s face the facts the chances are slim at best Deval is going to bring back any business. Did Lt. Governor Murphy’s jaunt to Ireland produce any results? How about Governor Patrick’s trip to China?

...On the road again...

Let's look at what happened in Ohio. India has outsourced call center jobs to low wage workers in Ohio. With the growing number of corporations who don't want to reside in MA, there is a good chance that we can pick up our oursourced outsourced jobs, and put India based companies into all of the empty buildings that live along 495 and the Mass Pike.

Yes but that is a small amount of workers and there are far more jobs going over seas then there are coming back. To be honest I would like to see our Gov. spend a little more time worrying about our budget instead of globe trotting.

If only Patrick would stay there, maybe he could learn a thing or two about how the free market saves lives.
