Expose The Hypocrisy

Take That!

A humiliating loss for Gov. Patrick.

t was hacks over moonbats here last night. Hillary beating Barack means Mumbles and Sal took Cadillac Deval and Liveshot and Teddy to the woodshed. It was 1978 all over again.

Somewhere, Tom Reilly was smiling. This is the way the 2006 Democratic primary for governor should have played out, if only Tom Reilly hadn’t been so brutally inept.

Who would have ever thought it? Barack Obama, with all the signs in all the same McMansion yards where Deval’s were posted with pride (and white guilt), couldn’t cut it in the cities - other than Boston, of course.

“The people have spoken,” Mayor Mumbles Menino mumbled.

Amazing. The people of Massachusetts finally awoke from their moonbat slumber. All those tubby dolts who were wandering zombielike through the malls last weekend in their 3XL No. 12 Patriots [team stats] sweat shirts came out of mourning long enough to vote for the closest thing the Democrats have this year to an old-fashioned lunch-bucket Democrat.

So now we find out how much Ted Kennedy’s endorsement is worth, even in Massachusetts. The answer is, very little. A national poll yesterday indicated that even among Democrats, 34 percent said Teddy’s endorsement made them less likely to vote for Obama, while 30 percent were more likely.

Camelot is over.

Another loser: Sen. John F. Kerry, or, as he prefers to be called, “Mr. President.” There’s an old saying that no man is a hero to his own valet. Liveshot treats everyone in Massachusetts like his valet, and yesterday was payback.

And finally, Gov. Deval Patrick. The dirty little secret is out now. If Tom Reilly had bought himself a clue, or not picked Marie St. Fleur as his running mate, or dropped out when Gabrieli and his checkbook got into the fight, Deval would not be riding around in his Cadillac DTS with a state police driver.

UPDATE: More from Casey Ross, Holly Robichaud, Joan Vennochi and the Herald.

SECOND UPDATE: More from Mass Roots GOP.
