Expose The Hypocrisy

Talk Is Cheap

Gov. Patrick is NOT a fan of the "I-Man."

Gov. Deval Patrick launched into an angry condemnation of radio host Don Imus yesterday, jumping into a growing national controversy by denouncing the “careless insults” Imus and others use to belittle minorities to entertain listeners.

“I’m sick of this,” Patrick told the Herald. “I’m sick of the careless insults that get hurled around. I’m sick of the lack of respect. And why? Because you can’t make a point about a basketball team without talking about them that way?”

Patrick, the nation’s only black governor, weighed in on the controversy yesterday as Imus faced a chorus of calls for his dismissal...

What I wouldn't give to see Boston Imus affiliate WTKK-FM torpedo the controversial cowboy and replace him with former WRKO-AM morning host Scott Allen Miller.

My father was a working man, he was a Vietnam Veteran who worked 60 hours a week at the shipyards in Red Hook in Brooklyn. He used to tell me that I am a man and as a man I should never let words bother me. At the same time he also taught me a more important lesson, being an American. You see our family was from Poland and back in the old country our cousins weren't allowed to speak freely. He would say the workds may anger you but always remember this your still alowed to say them. Today we can't say whats on our mind and in a way to be PC we have sacraficed this right. I admit what Imus said was wrong and offensive but we all need to remember this, people have the right to say whats on their mind even if it offends you. If it offends you well then say something back but don't cry about it. I don't think Imus should be fired for what he said because people can form their own opinions. If they don't want to support his show because its offensive they can turn the dial. I am sicked and tired of the wimps in the PC police crying everytime someone says something they disagree with. Suck it up, I would rather be offended 24-7 then lose my right to say anything.
