Deval Mocks Attention Given To His Wasting of Taxpayer Dollars

In Deval Patrick's latest podcast he offers a quick — but by no means subtle — jab at the attention being given to his reckless abuse of taxpayer dollars.

Hi, this is Governor Deval Patrick. This week, I would like to address a subject of great concern to people throughout the Commonwealth, and no, it’s not the official car or the new desk in the governor’s office. It’s the steady increases in local property taxes.
Real funny Deval, but your shameful attempt to waste of taxpayer dollars to enhance your image is of great concern to many people throughout the Commonwealth and is nothing to joke about. It only took a few weeks to decide that you could take advantage of your position by looking at our tax dollars as a bottomless pit of money you can take from whenever you want.

We should not forget that during the campaign, a hybrid vehicle was good enough for Deval, and if he really wanted to make a statement, he'd be driven around in a hybrid as governor. On the campaign trail, Deval would say in response to questions about this wealth that he and his family have been blessed. Today, he sees himself no longer "blessed" but entitled to riches and luxuries that we, the taxpayers, must pay for.

Yet, he treats this whole situation like a joke he can just brush off in a podcast before he proposes tax increases on businesses disguised as property tax breaks for low-income homeowners.
